Trellance Analytics User Portal is the “front door” of the Trellance analytics offering.

What Is New?

Brand new capability to bring Trellance announcements straight to the User Portal including release notes, conference/road show events, maintenance windows, and more. Also, bug fixes enable a smoother experience in managing domains and active users.

New Features - Announcements

Announcements empowers uses with:

• Alerts when a new unread announcement is posted

• Link for more information about the announcement (i.e. detailed release notes for an upcoming update)

• Ability for users to mark announcements as read/unread

  • Including ‘Mark all read’ for a bulk update on announcements

• Status of an announcement

The Announcements Banner

When users log in or do a hard refresh (Cntrl+Shft+R), the most current unread announcement will display in a banner on top of any page in the User Portal.  The banner will display until it is closed using the “X” to mark it ‘read’.  A blue button may be visible to provide a link to more information.

The Tray

Users will be able to view all active and completed announcements by using the bell icon located on the top tool bar. The number of unread announcements (if any) will be displayed in a blue circle near the bell icon.

Selecting the bell icon will open the tray containing all active and completed announcements.  Each announcement has an effective period.  The ‘start date’ is displayed with the announcement in the tray.

The Announcements display in the tray in descending order by start date.  Active announcements are within that date span and completed when they have reached the end date.  Any announcement can be marked as read or unread (“Mark all as read” is also an option in the Announcements title bar).

To expand/collapse the full text of the announcement, select the down/up arrow

Trellance may remove announcements if they are no longer relevant or contain any erroneous information.  If this occurs, an announcement which previously displayed in the tray will no longer be visible.

Bug Fixes:

Adding active users

When adding and editing users, the email field was previously allowing spaces – leading, trailing and as part of the email address.

• The fix will strip out any spaces on save of a user so that the proper format for email is enforced.

Domains – Bug Fix

A bug which was causing the cancel confirmation message to display multiple times when deleting a domain has been fixed to show the confirmation message one time.
